"Us"- by Magdalena Małyjasiak is a series of black-white portraits, depicting people with intellectual disabilities who took part in a project called ,,Sopot street of art 2010” as well as known artists from the Tricity. This is an artistic and deeply educational project.
Intellectual disability is a tabu in our society today. Despite the fact that in public discourse we tend to move away from looking at it as if it was a problem of an individual person. In every day life however we push away a possibility of existing intellectual disability as a social fact.
